Working Principle

The working principle of the peristaltic pump silicone tube is based on the mechanical compression mechanism of the peristaltic pump. The peristaltic pump consists of a drive motor, pump head, and silicone tube. The silicone tube is placed in the roller or pressure block system of the pump head. The motor drives the rollers to rotate, compressing the silicone tube in sequence, which creates a sealed liquid segment (referred to as a "liquid cushion") inside the tube. 


As the rollers move, the liquid cushion is pushed forward, achieving unidirectional flow of the liquid. The elasticity of the silicone tube allows it to quickly return to its original shape after compression, generating negative pressure to suck in new liquid. Since the liquid only flows inside the silicone tube and does not come into contact with the pump body, contamination is avoided.
